Howdy, friends!  It’s me, Julia! If you’re here, you probably already know that I am a wedding and elopement photographer…I also photograph ALLLLLLL the things. I use my whole entire heart and every bit of creativity I can muster for each and every shoot I do. With over a decade of industry experience, I strive to deliver unique and meaningful imagery that resonates deeply for my clients. I can’t wait to play in the desert with y’all! I’ll demonstrate not only how I capture images and direct my couples, but how I interact with them (as well as take a step back) in order to more deeply tell their story. Let’s get personal. With over 15 years experience in the industry, I am here to be your open book, sharing all my secrets to becoming an award winning photographer and encouraging your success in the art world.

VIDEOGRAPHER

Hey, I’m Jake! I’m all about creating wedding films that are as unique as the couples I work with. My approach is super relaxed and fun. At the workshop, I’ll share how I keep things super chill for clients, craft films that don't feel like every other wedding video out there, and handle whatever curveballs weddings throw my way. We’ll dig into everything from creating content that truly stands out to your ideal clients to building incredible relationships with other vendors, plus the approach I take to run a sustainable business and make sure every wedding I shoot is truly stress-free and fun. When I’m not shooting weddings, you’ll probably find me outside with my family. Can’t wait to connect, swap stories, and level up together!

FLORIST

When I fully delved into the language of flowers and all the beauty it conveys, I knew I had to become fluent in floriography and share it with the world. My progenitors came to America from Scandinavia and I feel so connected with my heritage. Even my company name is influenced by these roots: "Blomstra" means "flourish" or "bloom" in Swedish. To me, this translation not only refers to flowers, but to people as well. I believe we as humans flourish and bloom when we love and are loved in return. I've been working with flowers since 2012 and have over spent over 20.000 hours studying floral design, becoming an expert floriographer using the language of flowers, and working with these gorgeous blooms. When the flowers speak , I listen.
